Peeply Data & Legacy Policy
This Data & Legacy Policy explains how Peeply manages account data over time, including retention, deletion, and what happens to your data if you stop using the Peeply mobile app.
Scope
This policy covers data associated with your Peeply account, including pantry items, grocery lists, and related activity created through the App. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and why.
Subscriptions & PRO features
Peeply may offer optional paid subscriptions that unlock PRO features in the App. When you subscribe, you obtain access to those features for the duration of your active subscription period, as long as your payments remain current and your account is in good standing.
Subscriptions are typically managed through your app store or payment provider account, which controls billing, renewals, and cancellation. You can usually change or cancel your subscription at any time via that provider; if you cancel, access to PRO features will continue until the end of your current billing period unless otherwise indicated in the App.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your Peeply account is active so that you can access your pantry, groceries, and history when you return to the App. If your account remains inactive for an extended period, we may archive or delete certain data in line with reasonable product, legal, or security requirements.
Account deletion
You can request deletion of your Peeply account and associated data from within the App (for example, via a "Delete account" option) or by contacting us. When you do, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with your account, subject to any data we are required or permitted to retain for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Backups and logs
Copies of your data may remain in system backups or logs for a limited time after deletion. These copies are automatically removed on a rolling basis and are only used to maintain the security, integrity, and availability of the service.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Data & Legacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you through the App or by other reasonable means.
